First of all a young male siskin, the first for quite some time.
We get pigeons all the time in our garden, and collared doves. Both these sit for ours waiting for food to fall from the feeders or for Steve to top up the easy access window feeder. The easiest thing in the world to take a photograph of is a pigeon. Coal tits are difficult, they never stop still, even for a second… but then you have the gold crest! They move all the time, bouncing about from twig to twig- a bird photographer’s nightmare. So please excuse my effort below- but at least you can see the gold crest that gives the bird its name.
